AudioVista Showtime

The movie plays. AudioVista follows.

Movie accessibility delivered through the guest's own phone — with synchronization designed for the messy reality of a real theater.

Built for real life

A theater is not a laboratory.

Crowded Wi-Fi. Weak cellular service. A guest arriving after the trailers. A phone switching networks. Showtime is designed around those conditions, not around a perfect connection.

Sync to the movie

Audio fingerprinting can recognize the film from the sound already playing and align the accessibility track to the picture.

Less dependence on the network

Accessibility content can be prepared ahead of time so playback does not have to depend on a flawless live connection throughout the film.

Join when you arrive

The experience is designed to find the presentation and synchronize instead of requiring everyone to begin at exactly the same second.

The point: weak service should not mean weak accessibility. Showtime is being built so the critical movie experience can keep working when the theater's network is less than ideal.

Deploy once

One film. Many theaters.

Prepare and deploy a title centrally. Then make that same accessibility content available anywhere the film is authorized and Showtime is enabled — without rebuilding the package for every auditorium.

01

Prepare the film

Audio description and other supported accessibility assets are associated with the title.

02

Deploy centrally

Manage the title once instead of loading a separate copy into specialized equipment at each screen.

03

Make it available wherever it plays

Participating locations can offer the same experience without each location becoming its own technical deployment.

For theater operators

Stop building a hardware system around a pair of headphones.

No receiver fleet

Reduce dependence on dedicated accessibility receivers that must be purchased, stored, charged, cleaned, handed out and collected.

No new device for the guest to learn

The guest uses the phone, accessibility settings and headphones they already know.

Central updates

Content and deployment can be managed from the platform instead of servicing hardware room by room.

Scales beyond one building

A chain can think in terms of titles and locations, not a separate accessibility appliance for every screen.
